Artists

The artistic participants are compensated on a points basis. Each participant will receive a designated number of points for each show in which they participate. Each participant will be expected to enter into a contract for that show.

At the end of the season, after enough money has been set aside for the next season's operating costs, the remaining money will be divided amongst the artistic participants based on their accumulated points. The point values listed below may be adjusted by show.

Our current estimated break even point is 41 seats per show. Attendance in excess of this will begin to give value to points. It is unlikely that a single point will exceed $300 in value.

Actor (1 - 12 points based on level of involvement)
Attend all rehearsals for which you are scheduled, unless previously arranged, and attend all performances. Prepare as required by the director, which may include among other things memorization of lines according to schedule.

Director (15 points)
Prepare an organized sense of the show, and plan and execute a rehearsal schedule designed to accomplish it.

Assistant Director (3 points)
Assist the director up to the opening of the show. Aid in the running of rehearsals. Maintain notes as requested by the director. Good opportunity to learn the process of directing.

Costumer (4 points)
Design, create and accumulate all the costumes required for the show in conjunction with the director and the rest of the design team. This will include attention to accessories that may overlap with properties, and hair style. Typically costumes should be ready at the beginning of the rehearsal process. Measuring and fitting sessions will be scheduled as needed.

Set Design/Construction (4 points)
Design, create and accumulate all the set pieces required for the show in conjunction with the director and the rest of the design team. Set pieces will include furnishings as well as construction. Sets should be ready and reviewed before the show gains access to the house.

Lighting Design (2 points)
The season is divided into 2 seasons. Summer and Fall. A single lighting plot will be designed for each season. The design has to service all the shows within that season. The Lighting Designer will have to coordinate with all the design teams for that season. The designer will have to design and hang the plot for all shows, program the lighting equipment, and train the operators.

Properties (2 points)
Design, create and accumulate all the pieces required for the show in conjunction with the director and the rest of the design team. All property pieces or suitable practice pieces will be available at the beginning of the show's rehearsal.
